The PREDATOR GHILLIE™ product line is an advanced signature management solution designed to be a cohesive ecosystem that can easily be scaled up and down with the needs of the end user to the existing war fighters equipment.
The Predator Ghillie™ Viper Lite is a much-needed advancement in the concealment of the individual war fighter.
Built out of a durable 500D Cordura and weighing under a pound (with included Predator Ghillie™ Dreads) the Viper Lite embodies lightweight, durable, breathable and ergonomic outline breakup. Without the need for less durable elastics and mesh materials thanks to the dynamic movement and hydrophobic properties of the Predator Ghillie™.
The first approach was to better tailor the Cobra Lite to the needs of the end user. Through trimming excess material and streamlining the Cobra Lite, we’ve created a system optimized for use in a dynamic high mobility role.
The Viper Lite has been exclusively tailored to be used in-conjunction with our Predator Ghillie™ Backpack Covers. Rather than a scale to size and generic change, every individual Predator Ghillie™ product has been designed to specifically breakup and disrupt the end users outline.
Included in the Predator Ghillie™ Viper Lite are 30 optimized dreads that allow for a customizable outline breakup. The Predator Ghillie™ Dreads can either be fed through the slits positioned throughout the Viper Lite or tied into the hexagonal laminate panels. Dramatically reducing the need for copious amounts of jute and methods of the past.
Unlike Cobra Hoods and Viper Hoods of the past, we use a hexagonal grid of laminate for additional vegetation and jute. Eliminating the need for big, heavy, bulky stitched grids of 550 while providing a stable platform that better supports and allows for a wider range of angles for attaching jute and supplemental vegetation. Creating a lightweight, agile, extremely low bulk solution for the end user that will hold up through abuse.
Like the Cobra Lite, the hood section of the Viper Lite is built to allow the use of a helmet. Carefully designed to move with the end user while not restricting motion or obstructing view. Built into the rear of the hood is a length of shock cord that allows the end user to adjust where their hood sits. All while fundamentally breaking your head and shoulder outline.
Built into the Viper Lite are multiple points of adjustment to allow for a perfect, secure fit regardless of kit underneath. The collar and front torso of the Viper Lite is tailored and designed to be used with kit without interference of load bearing and other forms of fighting kit.
The back section has been carefully designed to not interfere with plate carriers, chest rigs, load bearing harnesses, or belt kits. The form and function of the back is to streamline the use of a rucksack or assault pack. The idea being that the end user will most likely be wearing a bag or pack or mission essential items and utilizing a Predator Ghillie™ pack cover as well.
Available in 13 camouflage patterns and configurable to any environment, there should never be a reason to stand out when concealment matters most.
MultiCam™/A-TACS™ fabrics are treated for near IR (infrared) signature issues. Nearly all MultiCam™/A-TACS™ printed fabrics are tuned for both visible and near IR spectrums. We cannot confirm all color options we offer will reduce IR signature.
